They do, but being that most trout anglers don't fish at night, it's rare for them to actually see a striper. I'm sure those that fish for nocturnal big browns up there do run into stripers from time to time.
I think it criminal that people are killing stocked fish as bait for a very popular sea-run program. Where was enforcement? Why wasn't it regulated more closely. Those charged with management of the sea-run program must be from Massachusetts.
