I'm from NJ
Just got home from the Cape a few hours ago

Fished the East end of the Canal every morning before sun up and into the high tide. I caught a few schoolies.

Tried fishing the Sound out front of the motel(Dennis) but the SW blow the past few days made it nearly un-fish-able due to the amount of grass in the water

A fishing buddy from Sandwich said things are just getting started
He mentioned a few good size stripers had been taken although most fish caught were schoolies
He felt things are due to turn any day with the coming change in the weather

Hi all,
I live in Plymouth, England and will be arriving Cape Cod last day in May for a week, to try and catch a "pull your string" striper on fly. Have spent the past few weeks tying Deep Minnows, Squid, Decievers and the like. Any pointers on what else to tie and where to fish would be most welcome.
Russ.

Thanks for that. I will google shrimp and Bob Popovics and see what happens. I have tied a lot of Deep eels and bought some Furry foam for some crab patterns over the weekend. so I guess I am going to be busy. Russ.
