Herring along the beach front early with some sea robins, skates and short fluke as by catch in the morning today.
Black fish on the rocks on crabs.
Lots for sea weed in the surf again.

Fished Top O' the Mast dusk to dawn last night. Just killing clams and some bunker chunks. Very few hits all night - just skate and sand shark. It feels like there's not much in the water. What a beautiful night it was, though, and the dawn made the long hours well worth it.

Had a beach fox nearly at my feet half a dozen times through the night. We were just sitting still, holding our rods (fishing rods!) and the scurvy thing came skittering in. I had to kick sand at it to make it back away from my bait cuting board.

Fished IBSP last night from 3 to 11pm. used fresh croaker i caught the day before. only caught a skate but the way my kids reacted you woulda thought we caught a whale. BTW does anyone know if that is a good bait to use? we caught a bunch of them on a party boat so we saved them for bait.
