Default Spyhouse report

Hit the pier yesterday with my dad and son from 12:00-3pm... Nothing happening at all... Saw 2 small blues caught and talked to a reg who had 2 keeper fluke early and that was it. No one else doing anything either.

My son managed one large snapper which I livelined out and got a nice hit and miss... Had 1 bump on the bucktail and my dad had 1 hit on bait... The crabs were in force and next time I'm bringing the crab trap.. They were eating the gulp baits!

Gonna wait a few weeks until the snappers are really in then I'll take the kid back down for some action. His catch=my fluke bait!

Thanks Rob.... I think it was just an off day too... Nobody was doing anything and the wind was howling from the west... Alot of weed too... The wind sure did give me some extra sistance with the bucktail though!

Angry Re: Spyhouse report

Considering what good luck I experienced in Seaside Park two weeks ago(35 Keepers 5" or bigger) it is sad to find out small ones are kept! If they are caught, it only makes it look worse for us honest people!
