The state line was the shore line not the middle of the river. I am a storehouse of useless information.
Also, saw reference that NJ State and local police have no jurisdiction there and it became a gathering spot for drug users

Remember reading about a body washing up there and all investigations etc were conducted by Delaware authorities.

Ditto that Don Last night was better and the day before that was a litter better yet. That 100 mile round trip is killing me. Might scope out some closer haunts

I tried for a coupe hours near Seaside again yesterday morning. I saw fish caught, but I'm told I missed the best of the bite. The schoolies are still moving and I'm not giving up yet unless the weather gets too horrible.

Questions: What's going on in the back these days? Are there schoolies back there too? Do they hang back there through the winter?
Also, is there any activity worth walking out to check on out on the end of the the Hook?

Don't know what's up at the hook but anywhere on the ocean side should be good. It's all about the timing. 2 hours either side of the change of light Sun up/ Sun set

Not sure anyone knows this or even cares the tip of sandy hook is in sandy hook bay and would be closed to striped bass fishing January 1 the demarcation line I think runs from the sandy hook lighthouse to breezy point. So I guess if your up there, your fishing for white perch
