Default A time to Fish

Hello Frank,
It's Dec. 23rd. I'm in my office for the last time before Christmas and remembering everyone, both past & present that touched my life, this past year. Just wanted to thank you for all the good advice I've recieved from the threads on this forum and wish everyone a happy holiday season.
As a change of pace, I wanted to ask your opinion/advice regarding when to use artificals? I'm more interested in the time of day/night rather than the currents or tides. I put in a fair amount of time, off the surf, during the Fall, and had just about all of my success in the early morning or late afternoon with plugs. In fact, I can't remember if I ever caught a fish, with artificials, during any other time of the day. Did I miss this in your books that I read?

There is no special time for artificials. True, dawn and sunset can be good but we always fished any time of night, mostly with artificials. We have caught a quadzillion bass at 2:00 AM.

If you don't have to use the headlights on your car to get there or return home don't go.

I don't know if they are still there but squid stew at Cookies tap in P-town. It was the greatest. I tried to make it at home but failed.
