Where Did All The Weakfish Go?
Part 1 (direct quote from article)

If you’re having trouble catching trout you are in the norm. In this article, editors from up and down the eastern coast report bleak demise for trout this year.

Some areas still had disappointing fishing last year, but the overall picture was positive. Unfortunately, it’s entirely negative this year.

As each of the editors noted, there were some large weaks reported, and a few specialists managed decent catches during brief periods. However, it’s rare when there’s such a uniformly negative outlook on a fishery all along the cost, especially one that seemed to be in good shape lest than a year ago.

This is an excellent article and in the following week Al Ristori should look into some of the reasons this has happened.
