This was my 1st 6 + lb LMB EVER ! I have 1 8lb , 3 7lb tons of 5's all on artificial bait
here in the North East ...Florida that's another story

Buck Perry has a great book on seasonal patterns , & what I have found out EVERY body of water has one. I fished this am @ sunrise 2 dink LM w/ a 1/2oz jig & paca craw .

90 % of my fishing is from the shoreline , I had MANY fail attempts over the years trust me it will come . You don't catch if your line is not in the water very often .

I'm available to help on a PM ...too many lurkers on the internet Tight Lines

Thumbs up Re: freshwater reports

Was out 2 weekends ago and skunked.
Tonight, about 15 fish landed. 5 bass (I still don't pay attention to lmb or smb), 10 pickeral, and 1 bluegill, on you guessed it, top water because that's the only thing I catch on lol. Thought you all who fish freshwater would like to know that top water is in full force

In its mouth looks like a " pop r " it's the bait I'll throw 1,000 x's for that one bite . Matter of fact about 6:30pm tonight going back on the water again ,

It's a nice catch pic and report thanks for sharing.

It is the popR. sometimes I'm just dialed in with a rythym, or looking for it, and when I get it going, a well placed cast will usually get swiped at. The bass were mostly under pads.
