We enjoy reading your reports. Surf, boats, fresh water are all good.. Pictures are even better.

Good luck, have fun and be safe.

Worked front and back of NOMOCO, threw everything in the bag in places that consistently produce something. A whole lot of nothing other than getting weeded out, even out front. Water was clear but a lot of debris and seaweed. I wish I could be more consistent this time of year.

After Saturday mornings incredible lightning show passed through the area we trolled up 8 striped bass (7 keeps) on the day keeping our limit of 3 and then switched over to targeting bluefish. It was a pick of blues on plugs and metals but nothing crazy.

Sunday was a real struggle on the bass side. We bounced around to multiple spots between trolling and chunking and only had one bluefish by 11am and we all decided to just go target bluefish instead. Again a pick of bluefish where they would come and go in flurries. At one point we had 4 on at once. Wind started blowing hard and we decided to call it an early day.

2PM to 4PM Top of the tide on the ebb. RB in the flats. Strong SW wind that changed to the West at times. Water cloudy with debris. Bunker dunkers scoring with 8 to 10 lb bluefish very often. No takers on the fly even with the wind assist lengthening my casts. No boats or kayaks visible due to the strong winds.

Out back RB wading the flats last night 6-9. Caught close to 2 dozen blues all on poppers all between 6-12 lbs. same spot today from 9-1 with2 friends. All landing over a dozen blues again. Damn blue shook his head and put a treble through my new waders and my buddy snapped his rod on a 14lber. 4-5 triple headers it was a fun day to say the least even with the rod and waders and multiple lost plugs. Still can't find any bass only 1 this season for me. Hope some of you are finding them

Many guys are getting wounded by those blues while extracting trebles from them. I saw several with some serious gashes in their hands leaving the sand yesterday! ....and last week.

had a big pencil cut in my waders this Fall during a blitz; used the kit from the Orvis store which is 2 patches for like $9; work like a charm; last couple of days here been totally dead with nasty South winds; at it again later at high and early morning; "never give up...never surrender"
