Haven’t had any success since Tuesday. Fished 4/5 days recently with only 2 taps yesterday. Was thinking the outgoing tide yesterday was gonna break my 5 day skunk but that didn’t happen. I did see 2 fish caught in the Raritan Bay yesterday both shorts. Everyone I talked to had a rough week catching as well. Hopefully things get going again soon. Best of luck

It's going to improve by tomorrow because I'm going fishing tomorrow evening. It's going to be AweSome!

My yesterday's kayak trip in RB 5.30am to 2pm was very interesting ...the parking lot was so crowded that I could barely find a spot to park at 5am...temps in high 50ies with no wind and heavy fog...if you did not try to kayak in the fog you do not know the feeling ...the visibility was about 50 yards...and it was making me nervous to hear some boat engine running without seeing the boat...the only thing you could rely on was a GPS on my fish-finder..friend of mine did not have GPS and did not have a phone...he almost got lost and had to cut his trip short...the fog lasted for the most of the morning
as far the fish goes it was scattered around...a lot swirls but it was reluctant to hit the lures...ended up with a dozen shorts and one 31" keeper

fog + boats + kayak == do not go

sorry, yaks are just speed bumps of the water way.

glad you hit but... not for me... I don't even like fog in a boat.

out today with brother in law; we had 24 shiners that lasted about 45 min; landed 20 bass, lost the biggest two in the weeds at the bank and he got a snook....freshwater lake about 7-8 acres; a total surprise

out fri-sun multiple times and no love, but yes those parking lots were crowded and the fog actually looked pretty cool, to me anyway, as it was burning off and hiding the bridges etc.

Sorry joe, in my travels today, the Raritan River was orange up to somerset. The bay is going to need a few tide changes to clean up.

Bayakker, much as I'd like to, I can't hold you responsible for the conditions.

We usually blame Basstard (Billy Black Cloud) for the weather

prob my last bass outing today with my brother in law; used 30+ shiners and had about 20+ bass between us; plus another snook ; best part was he had a nice 4 lber on and I helped him get it on land just as his leader snapped; his biggest yet; I threw my shiner back and immediately got whacked and landed one almost same size; might be my biggest; both within about 3 min; great way to end the largemouth time for me with family; see you all on the beach next week.....looking for the big blues; they were in last week in April last year in So Jersey
