I am looking for some suggestions as to places to launch in and around Orleans on the Cape.

I would also like some suggestions for places to fish for Fluke.

What are the Massachusetts regs for Fluke??

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't help with a place to launch, but you can check out all the regs at: http://www.state.ma.us/dfwele/dfw/dfw_toc.htm

Not shure where but I know there is more. But try near the fish pier in Chatham. Or Stage Harbor....I forget if that is Orleans or Harwich.

Tight Penny
I grew up in Orleans and have fished there all my life. (44) There are many boat ramps on both sides of the Cape. It would help to know what size boat and how you fish and for what at what month of year. Email me or post again and I will help as best I can.
THERE IS A FLUKE SEASON AND SIZE LIMIT AND POSSESION OR BAG LIMIT. THE REGS I HAVE IN HAND ARE OLD (1997) Check the previous poste address for the current regs.

Bruce,

Thanks, if it ever gets out of "transit" between the factory and the dealer, it will be a 17' Boston Whaler Montauk to replace my old 15'Whaler.

I prefer drift bottom fishing for fluke, and would probably head up during the summer some time to visit my retired minister who lives in Orleans.

Normally I fish out of the Barnegat Inlet in New Jersey and with the old Whaler ventured out as far as three or four miles.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
