Default susquehanna flats

Hi Frank,there was an article in striper surf about fishing the susquehanna flats in the spring a couple of years ago.I was wondering if you were the author or knew of the article.The picture that was with the article is on the striper surf home page under the resource heading any help would be appreciated

No, I didn't write it because I don't know anything about the Susquahanna. I have never been to Tanganyika But your questions on things I might be able to help you on are always welcome.

While I've never been to Tanganyika; I have fished the flats of the Susquehanna below the big dam. My son used to live in Belcamp, about a 20 minute ride south of the river and I visited several times 7 or 8 years to fish there.

It was ok, but I was not impressed that the state bills this as a Big Fish Special Season only to find that those big fish are all big spawners and should probably be left alone to do their thing.
