Default Yanks vs Sox 06/06/06

Now that was an awesome game! I much prefer a game like last night than the one the night before. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of offense too. I like a close game with great pitching and great fielding. How about that play by Melky Cabrerra in left robbing Manny's homer in the 8th? THAT WAS HUGE! Manny mouthing "WOW", Ortiz saying, "That's why I hit mine 500 feet." and Damon jumping up and down celebrating the catch.

definitely one of the great plays of the regular season yankee-red sox rivalry!

Just had a quick thought

MO.......

He is the MVP of the decade (last 10 years). Did he throw more than 3 pitches in the 9th? (didnt seem like it)

BTW, red sox jersey on again today. You cant walk away when they are playing bad, no hiding... win or lose 1st or last place, I am a Sox fan thank God

that is no "quick thought"... even with the disaster w/Arizona

MO is MVP of the decade by far!

I get nervous when they bring Mo in against the Sox. They have touched him up good on too many occasions for my liking. He did well last night. He is also very rested.

I don't think they will get the game in tonight too much rain in the forcast. I actually hope they don't play tonight, Schilling vs Wright does not look very appealing to me. Also it would give Jeter and Damon more time to heal up.

One thing you have to remember with MO facing the Red Sox is that they face him alot more than other teams. And he still usually comes out on top over them. I guess that is why he is the greatest closer of all time. I never get nervous when he is out there because he is the only guy I would want to see out there.

Cant believe Melky C catch, which was in the game which started this post, wasnt in the top 5 plays of the 1st half of the year.
