Awsome Pics plum!

My wife also thought they were great, awsome sunsets there!

The boys are just jealous, what does SC have? A puny striper to his name so far this year? from the surf, and some flatties utilizing depth finding sonar, fishfinders and expert captains.

Plum could land a 36" anytime she wanted, she let the hubby catch the bigun to massage his ego. My wife does the same thing! I really don't have an ego though....

Of course my husbands is bigger. I hope it is always like that!
there's the proof

Of course, that line could take us in a whole nother direction, but I'll pass!

Those are some awesome pics...... I attribue it to the sun setting in Kerry-land (If they are sunrise pics, I just placed my foot firmly in my !

Damn, looks like I bugged out too early! How long after I last saw you two did you folks pull the other ones in?

After I left you, I fished the remainder of the low and incoming at the sandbar on the river mouth, absolutely dead. First time there since early July, first skunk of the year there! Baitfish everywhere, but no blue or stripers to be had.

Next time out I think I'll set up closer to you and your hubby, I certainly didn't do any better fishing solo.

Have to figure out how to get my wife out there, she takes awesome photos, but won't sleep overnight in the truck (and I'm not giving out my address, so TattooBob can stick to the beach, my wife is off limits!).

Seriously though, I'm hoping to be out there again this weekend, don't know exactly when yet or which one of my kids will be my designated fishing buddy. Tides look decent, but high is over a foot more than last weekend, and we'll definitely need to back the trucks up to the dunes to stay dry this time.

Have a great week!

Rick caught one at 12:30 and another at 1:30.
There is a lot of talk about them closing the gate to the buggy path this weekend with the 11ft. tide coming, and evacuating the beach.
We might have to spend the tides in the parking lot.
Saturday is GO FISH DAY.
Ron Arra will be there and it is a blast for the kids.
It's put on by the PI SURFCASTERS, MBBA and THE REFUGE.
Free food free shirts free bait and fly tying and lots of other goodies.
Rain date is Sunday.
I really hope the tides don't keep us off the beach.
Bring the kids and check it out. We'll be at lot one

Well, at least Rick waited until after noon to catch them. I had given up entirely by then, so it wouldn't have mattered where I was fishng, I'd have missed it.

Yeah, the high tide is going to be a problem, but I wonder what effect the hurricane passing out in the Atlantic will have. The rain effects should mostly hit Thursday night, but don't know what that'll do to the surf conditions Friday into Saturday. It would suck to have to walk on instead of drive. Don't get me wrong, I walk on from May-August all the time, it is just much more convenient not to have to pack/unpack and then carry gear. Also nice to have a warm dry place to snooze for a while late at night.

Relax tattoobob, just trying to make a little light fun with the tag line you had somewhere that said "Visiting your wife while you're out fishing", just like Plum said. Sorry if you took my playing along with your joke the wrong way. I sincerely apologize if I crossed the line. No harm intended. This site is entertaining, educational, and I always look forward to what gets contributed here as a high point of the day whenever I can't get to the sea and fish. I also look forward to the opportunity to actually meet and talk with the folks who post here, nice to be able to place a human face when reading these postings.

A little compliment to you as well, since you indicated that you can get your wife out with you when you go fishing, wish I had the same success with mine!

Enjoy the fishing, wish the fish gods smile on all, and I certainly hope the weather cooperates.

Yes, this thread was closed By ME, due to the posts that were deleted By Ragman. I would have appreciated if it was left that way but, I'll leave it be, it just may straighten out,
Less bickering, more information.
