If you noticed earlier in the show he said that they had their limit of 2 fish in the cooler and then they keept the larger fish at the end.

If it was Mass. the limit is ONE fish! Capt didn't have the Boston accent. Charter's phone # had 401 area code?! I missed the beginning of the show. They were using pogies for bait.

I missed the first 7 mins. but maybe they fished 2 days, I don't know. I doubt they would keep three in one day and show it on TV, unless the third one was for the cameraman

If it was shot during July or August, it's possible the captain may have had a commercial license.

Buddy lives in Gay Head and operates his boat out of Menemsha, on the Vineyard. And I'd bet $10 to a penny that he has a commercial license.

He uses live scup a lot for bait--ya sure they said pogies and nor "porgies"?

Living here in "Pensyltucky" I wouldn't know a pogie or porgie if it was in front of me I did hear of party boats going out fishing for them though!! Only bait I'm fond of eating are hot dogs on camping trips.

If the boat was a burgandy 20' Contender, then the captain was Gary Corsetti. He is out of Warwick R.I. and has a 401 area code. He does have a commercial bass license. Uses FRESH cut menhaden for bait. Jim fishes with Gary often during the summer months. Gary is one of the best bass fishermen in NewEngland.
