Default New Beach Buggy

I am going to buy my first beach buggy this year. As in other posts, I want to keep the price under $10k, and I also want to be able to transport 3-4 people. I have been looking at the Chevy Blazer/GMC Jimmy's and the Dodge Dakota Crew Cabs. Any thoughts on if these will be sufficient for the beach? All input is appreciated!

Brad

Either will be fine for a beach buggy.

I've got a 95 Blazer S-10 that I've been driving on the beach for the last 15 years. It has stock suspension and tires and I have never gotten stuck.

I would have suggested finding a Bronco but traveling with 3-4 passegers a Bronco and its 2 doors are brutal for getting in and out of the back without a pair of waders on. So you will want something with 4 doors.
