Re: March & April 2018 Fishing Reports
i will be making my first striper journey hopefully soon but I've been keeping occupied...haven't been able to upload photos for long time and turns out it was a $10 usb cable issue...branched off and started my own home remodeling company over the winter...shouldnt get in the way of spring pursuits too bad...my friend and i went for clams and had 232 between us in 2 hours...ate good...put my three yr old on some little freshwater species for his first time ever fishing...help him reel them in...he was picking up the worms and he even gave a worm a kiss...even i was a little grossed out but the kids got no fear lol... and he had a blast...ill probably bring him to the clubs annual trout tournament in a few weeks...ill have him out on the beach after midnight soon enough

Great pics! What general area ( like bay ) do you clam?
Got my juices going to get out, though it will be a while for me yet.

I don't travel too far south....where ever I can see exposed sand at low tide....I hadn't been out in a few years but my boredom was crazy this winter

Nice, I didn't know you had a yak. What size is that Revo?
I really have to get back to using mine or put it up for sale. Definitely, miss fishing from it.

Re: March & April 2018 Fishing Reports
Spent the back bay opener down in the OBX doing some giant tuna fishing.
It's on fire right now, 2/3 days we had our fish hooked up in less than 30 minutes (only allowed 1 per day).
101" - 452#
105" - 436#
90" - forgot the exact weight but in the mid 200s

Commercial limit is 1 per boat this year down there. All 3 fish shipped to Japan, the 436# sold for 8800 yen/kilo which is $38/lb. $16,500 fish
