Default Yankee woes

First Sheffield and now Matsui out for a while. This is going to hurt.

hard to watch Matsui go down last night.

What do folks think about Mo this year? Torre using him too much? Past his prime?

I may have to go on the DL just for watching the video

He's a classy guy, hate to see it happen even if he is a Yankee.

past their prime.... Mo, Mats, Bern, Mo, Johns, Pavano (hahahahaha), ....

I haven't liked this team at all the past few years. very hard to root for
any team with Arod and Johnson on it. I haven't liked any of the "big guns"
they've brought in at all. And I've been voting my dislike by just staying away.

Let Gene Michaels rebuild the team with that much money and we could probably get another 3-peat.

Tough to lose Matsui, he is a gamer. I have a lot of respect for him.

The Yankees will learn alot about young players in the next few weeks. There will be positives and negatives, But I would think you would have to like their chances still. Thinks wont get tight until Sept. Sort of hoping the Jays go away.

Maybe if that ugly **** Randy Johnson started pitching like Randy Johnson, the Yankees could get through this injury period.

But nooooooooooooooo.

I am a little concerned about the Yankees coming into Boston tonight. Wang has gotten his act together and Schilling is going the other way. Sometimes, when the chips are down (Yankee injuries), teams end up circling the wagon and rallying as underdogs.

You know what they say about wounded animals..... stay away!
