Default Parking in Deal?

I will be heading out the surf tomorrow morning and would like to try the areas in Deal just east of Deal Lake. Hope to get a combination of surf and jetties. Is there anyone out there that can give me a heads-up on a place to park? It will be early morning to mid-morning. I can goog the street names. Thanks a ton.

There is plenty of parking east of Deal Lake. Start there and work north or south.

BTW...There was a sewwage spill in Asbury and beaches from Deal through Bradley Beach are closed, so you should be on the look out for signs w/ beach closures. I saw the article in the AP Press.

Sorry I missed your call, it was dinner time.
Stay away from deal tomorrow, 500,000 gallons of treated sewage heavily clorinated was spilled 200 yds off the beach.
I would think that might take a day to clean up. Try up by seven presidents

Beaches closed from Deal to Bradly Beach When it is safe or if you stay North, Long Branch & Monmouth Beach just read the street signs some blocks you can only park on one side. Someone will get po'd but if you want jetties (groins) and beach seawall stay south of Takanassee lake (but its not to far from Deal)and you just gotta PULL MAN

Thanks all for the direction and advice. I parked just north of Lake with the Native American name worked the jetties north. I'll put it this way, "IT LOOKED GOOD" but no luck for me . I then went to 7 Prez Beach and "IT LOOKED GOOD" but no luck for me . I am going to stick with it. Still fun.

NJ fishing is a mess now. I can't stand the crowds and traffic. Do you fish the fall? I would get on some fall action! just wait until october, november and early december when everyone leaves. Drivers just gawk at you with a look of awe as you head out into the surf in the early aftenoon as night falls. The wind will be cranking northwest and you have that tell tale wool hat on ; )....that is NJ pluggin at its best!
