Bill I had an osprey putting on a show at spring lake tonight while I went fishless but I'm new to trout fishing. By the way somebody must know this Do trout bit an night? Promised my mother a fresh fish dinner for Good Friday and unless I get some in the morning it looks like I'll be hitting the market for them. On the saltwater front I got 3 schoolteacher yesterday at first light on a 4 inch white storm shad

Out tonight out back RB. Sunset trip incoming tide clean water. After a few taps finally landed a 27" bass that grabbed the yellow metal lip. This was my first bass of the year which happened to be the same day I caught my first bass of the year two years ago. My first ever bass on a metal lip and I've tried a few hundred casts over the last few years. Also dropped one after a few seconds. Heard of a few caught on clam down from where I was but no keepers. Good luck and tight lines. May this be everyone's best year yet

How does one shrink a photo size to post pic. I tried cropping it down but was still too large. Thanks.

9 shorts on worms tonight, took me awhile to figure out how they wanted them served. They were picky tonight.

sw or fw trout? I'm confused.

Guaranteed browns feed at night. Brookies: I never got a hit unless there was light.

Bows? I'm still learning about them

If you be talking about sw "trout" that's a no brainer, night is right.

I have found evening (dusk) to be my most productive time for trout and bass. This may be due to the fact that I don't enjoy fishing much before 7:00 am....
