All those guys, including Kraft, looks like they may have the whole thing thrown out because the evidence used was gathered illegally. I can't get emotional about this story because what goes on concentually behind closed doors is no big deal. What I care about is the protection of Kraft who does not have a wife, is doing nothing wrong and provides football entertainment for fans of which I am one. With all the crap that goes on in our culture, I wish the press had more to do. They are, however, very good at enhancing their reputation for screwing things up.

I really believe there was homeland security concerns behind the surveillance and that the "johns" were caught as a byproduct and hence they may get off as mentioned.

Don't how you would know that. Enforcement would suspect the activity was bogus because of the large amount of traffic there. Its what cops do. What might have been a surprise was catching Kraft in the net. No doubt officials believed that they would catch routine "johns" never expecting a whale.

I don't know how they would have approached putting a camera in place without proper warrants. And the madame is already tied to the suspected chinese spy that entered Mara Largo. Hence, it's not that far a stretch to think they weren't necessarily just after the massage parlor.

Yeah, it's speculative on my part, but juicy speculation

Yes, Rob, you are getting warm. Might be some valid conspiracy theories lurking in yur bonnet.

Frank,

I was thinking about conspiracy theories a bit more, the government and news cheating or, say, pushing the boundaries, and then saw this .... (edit: ps... last meme on this topic, I promise!)

Newspapers are so bogus. I used to enjoy columns by favorite authors. Now it seems I keep seeing more propaganda than information and I end up turning the page. Time was when I liked reading. Now I just get more pissed-off. However, the sports pages remain the safest place for reading ideas.... probably because there are no politics just sports opinions and news about sports.

well, it goes on, and indeed there is spy-craft up the wazoo with both the massage parlor madam and that "intruder" at Mar-a-Lago:

With classified filing, feds eye national security case against Mar-a-Lago intrude

And yes, Gronk's GF is a knockout. Tough life for retired football millionaires

And, Frank, I know you don't give a lick about Hockey, but everyone in the nation was glad that Boston fans DID NOT celebrate another championship:

The Blues’ Stunning Stanley Cup Run Was Keyed by a Rookie Goaltender

St. Louis’ worst-to-first campaign began after the team called up Jordan Binnington from the minor leagues in mid-December. In Game 7 of the Finals, he turned into a brick wall against the Bruins’ attack.

No, we watch hockey. We knew, even before the game, the nation was hoping the Bruins would lose. That comes up all the time over Boston teams. People are tired of Boston dominance. But if Boston athletes keep smoking dope they will lose even more.

Pats coaching staff are leaving like the locker room had social disease. They are all getting better jobs on other teams. Players, however, remain intact.

Overall, I think Boston's dominance in sport teams is kaput which will make Middle Atlantic critics happy. As for me, I just want to keep my guns and go hunting which, in this mileau of Democrats, is enough of a challenge.

What do yuz think of our soccer girls winning the World Cup today? We watched the whole series and they played very well. I had tears. Too bad one of our star players couldn't keep politics out of it. Why can't they all just play their sport and stop "Kapernicking." Otherwise it was very entertaining.

I see where Tom Brady just signed a new contract for an additional 2 million per year for two more years. That brings him to 32 million the coming season. Seems like a lot of money but then somebody thinks he is worth it. Moreover, he is sixth in top money list which means five people make MORE than he.

Brady is also a big investor in Under-Armor which I read is not doing well.
