They are all willing to go above and beyond to win. Its a business. The technology available today makes it easy to listen in on private team plans if radioed. Even in hunting, people cheat with drones which radio back camera footage of wildlife. Evolving tech changes things where one change leads to another. As far back as 10 years ago hunters were using drones to make doves landing in bean fields to get up and fly. So it is with technology in sports. Ever notice the coaches cover their mouths with a folder when giving orders to the QB so no once can read his lips?

Did yuz see where Kapernick, the kneeler during our National Antham, wants to come back to NFL action. He is scheduled to do something for the clubs tomorrow; hope nobody shows up. I am so sick of those guys.

Still early but the 10-0 95 yeard touchdown drive by the Eagles was the longest druve given up in the regular season by the Pats.... in 8 years

He moved the location 30 mins before show time an hour away. Wanted his own media to cover it. Balked at the NFL waiver he had to sign for injuries.
They said I believe it was 28 teams originally showed up, didn't here how many moved to the new location.
Haven't heard anything about Kap. getting a job.

Only 8 went to the new location. And, of course, the media to give him an outlet for his made up cause. He may wind up as a backup, if some team needs the distraction for publicity.

I thought the Pats were going to lose. They played rather poorly.

Brady not throwing as sharp as we are use to seeing. Not sure if it's just him or the receivers. Looks like it's becoming a running team.
Defense is keeping them afloat. IMO

The New England Patriots are at the top of the AFC with a 9-1 record. The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas has them as the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Their defense is historically good. The game charters at Pro Football Focus rank New England's special teams as the second best of 2019.

The offense, however, has been underwhelming. The Patriots are averaging just two points per drive in 2019, the fifth lowest rate for the franchise since coach Bill Belichick took over in 2000. They're struggling in the red zone (49%, ranking 25th) and in goal-to-go situations (65%, 21st).

"The strength of our team is our defense and our special teams," quarterback Tom Brady told "The Greg Hill Show" Monday morning on WEEI. "On offense we just have to take advantage when we get opportunities and understand where our strengths lie and try and play to them - not giving any short fields, not turning the ball over and try and take advantage when we get into the red area to score touchdowns. That is kind of where our offense is. That is kind of where our team is."

Brady, remarkably, appears to be at the heart of the team's offensive futility. The future Hall of Famer completed 26 of 47 passes for 216 yards and no touchdowns on Sunday, the first time in Brady's 20-year career that he played an entire game and didn't lead the team in touchdown passes, according to ESPN's Stats & Information. Wide receiver Julian Edelman threw New England's only touchdown pass, a 15-yarder to Phillip Dorsett in the third quarter. Brady also had 14 incompletions in the first half against Philadelphia, a career high.

The Pats, inspite of winning continually, don't look all that good. Brady is complaining a lot.
