Default "What a comeback"

Just a preview of the August 29th post that will come after the Sox finish a 19 game away schedule in the month of August.

"Everybody counted the Yankees out win they were down double digit games from Boston, but I knew they would comeback"

I just have to get this post out of the way. Sure the Sox have a lead, but any Sox fan knows these early leads and our history mean nothing, but inevitable heartache. This is the curse that comes with being a Sox fan!

I'm just glad the Yanks didn't get swept by the Mutts.

You must not be too up on baseball. Or maybe just one of those fair weather bandwagon jumping types.

If you were really in the know you would know that you will have to wait till next year to possibly sweep the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. Yanks and Mutts only meet for one series this season unless they meet again in the World Series which now seems unlikely.

Say What. What schedule did you look at? I believe they play at the stadium on Father's Day weekend.

Sounds to me like BennyB just make a simple mistake.

Who's bandwagon did you jump on this year?

BTW, It's still only May. Not to mention I don't know a single Yankees fan that's afraid to wear team attire, win or lose.

Yep, mistake alright. I had heard that amongst some friends a couple weeks ago. Even checked the schedule before I posted and still missed it.

Couldn't pass up on an opportunity to troll some bait past Frank N. Haste makes waste I guess. Notice he didn't bite?

Last nights game sucked, Moose got bombed. I know Walter liked that. Frank prolly did too.

Soooooo ptw, why don't you answer the question?

Who's bandwagon did you jump on this year?

Yeah, Definitely sucked but 1 out of 2 is better than two losses

I'm a Met fan who had grown to appreciate the way the Yankees use to play baseball. When I say use to, I mean when Jeter and Bernie were just coming up, you know , when Paul O'neil was on the team. They worked every pitcher to death, usually making him throw 100 pitches by the 5th or 6th inning. They just seemed to have so much class back then. Now look at them A-Rod(me rod), Johnny Damon (still wishes the red soxs would have paid him what the yanks paid him. wishes he was still playing for boston) Giambi(Druggie) I know Randy Johnson is gone, but I'll throw him in anyway just to make a point. Now the Rocket again!
As far as the younger Yankee fans go..IMO They act like a Jet fan would act If the Jets were ever any GOOD. The older Yankee fans are more like the older Giant fans. Benny, I know you are not a band wagon fan, I just couldn't let the opportunity go by without a slam. I still think it's funny that you and your "friends" forgot that both NY teams play a home and home series now, for years.
