RB tonight 7p to dark. South wind with dark clouds all around, but not over the bay. There was not a boat or ripple in sight as far as the eye could see. Flat calm lake placid type surface. Had one son with me and we threw mag darters, poppers bucktails, high low fluke rigs, and banana jigs. The no see-ums and skeeters drove us away without a touch from a fish.

Striperboat, sometimes surf, sometimes kayak, sometimes clamming, sometimes crabbing, and always gourmet cooking .com

My favorite sushi roll...yellowfin tuna caught on Monday, avocado, cream cheese wrapped in rice and nori.

Picture is for Rob.

Kayaking at Leonardo was pretty beat today.. Fished entire outgoing and managed 5 shorts. wind against tide always sucks but I expected better.

Hit last years honey hole to see if the flatties were around. Ended the morning with 15, with only one keeper, a couple sundials and a mean and fugly stargazer. Pink seemed to be the color of choice for them today. Also had birds picking sandeels for awhile but nothing else was on them.

Anyone ever get shocked by a stargazer before?

Kayaked yesterday at SH bay-side...managed to go all around False Hook to North Beach with outgoing tide and back with incoming...a little bit of wind in morning, then it was a like a mirror for a while only to switch to south wind up to 15 mph around 1pm...managed 15 shorts with one keeper and over a dozen red robins with some being over a pound ( kept 3 to go with fluke for dinner ...delicious)...not too many boats at first then everybody who was fishing in the channel came in ...a lot of party boats were moving back and fort to find the fish...have no clue if they found it...btw, Bay I checked your fluke honey hole ...nothing there for me...
