I feel for you.....not....I had fished hard Thursday and Friday and with the bleak results yesterday I put off going until Monday; there I go thinking again; I'll never learn; I did have a chance to be interviewed by Channel 12 NJ News on the Allenhurst jetty; subject was beach access in Deal; having grown up in that area I gave my views on the subject and they used the tape that night; if I can figure out how to post it (Rob???) I will

I'm glad somebody mentioned Sand eels. I thought they might have all gone south already.

The weather looks sucky with rain and a north wind tomorrow (Tuesday.) I'm heading for the beach, of course!

I do not want to bore you...but here I go again...due to lack of solid reports from RB and Jersey shore I decided to go again to protected LIS (trip#6)...Sunday morning 6.30am- 4pm...team of two kayaks...beautiful fall morning...trolled thru the creek and marina ...nothing...on my way to tog fishing grounds there were signs of blitzing but by the time I got there whatever it was it was gone...temps in low 40 with water about 55F...wind around 10mph from the west...we got to the first spot by a small island and fished there for an hour...I got maybe few nibbles...nothing...then we moved to a spot #2... All of sudden fish start biting...it could be due to a start of outgoing tide or something else...I do not know but the bite lasted for hours...spent a quart of asians and 2 dozen of green...caught 30+/- short with 2 keepers at 16.5" and 17"...probably more than a dozen fish caught was in 10-15" range...it was us with 2 boats and then those boats left !?!...on my way back caught a micro striper in the harbor and a 23" bass in the creek...btw, the tide was so low when I was coming back that I thought I will be landing in the mud...it worked out well and only the kayak got very dirty...

RB Saturday 6:30am-11:00am. Left them biting. limited out in about 1 hr (all 3 of us were able to take some nice ones home). Released 6 keepers biggest being 35in. Marked lots of fish! Hope they stick around 2 more weeks. Mojo's are the ticket at least for me. I only have 2 saturdays left before I have to pull the boat out! Tight lines everyone!

One keeper @ 30" this evening/morning (who could tell with the moon), dropped another one on the rocks & dropped my phone and had a boat run over and cut my line and plug. It was a long night....

Bill, great fishing with you this AM. Sorry we didn't get into that blitz we had on Sat. That day was epic. That 1 dink kept the skunk smell off of me today. Hope you do better in your trek down south.
