Default ***the Refuge***

I have been on vacation and have not had much time to check in.
Sorry my reports are old.
Things are really picking up and my hubby and I have been doing fantastic.
Mostly an hour before and an hour after high.
September 3,4,5 We caught lots of small fish and lots of good sized schoolies.
2 keepers.

ALL ON WORMS

SEPT 6,7,8th
we went to Provincetown (stayed in Wellfleet)
Fished several places but our favorite was Herring Cove.
NO STRIPERS, just blues, great fun but not dinner.
Great sunset on the ocean though. This is something I almost never get to see.

SEPT 9,10, 11TH

We arrived back on PI at around 11:30 am. incoming tide and a pretty good surf.
Tossed a worm out and in less than a minute I had a beautiful 27"
Very healthy FAT fish. I tossed it back and no sooner did I turn around my line
was screaming.
I picked up the rod and pulled back.... NOTHING!
I decided to reel in and check bait, the whole time thinking I have nothing on my line.
When I got close my line screamed again and I certainly did have a fish on.
I was trying to fight the surf, a very steep incline and a fish that didn't want to be caught!
I was very happy when the tape measure showed me it was an easy 30" fish!
One for the cooler!

The weekend catch! These fish are already gutted and bled, a little stiff from the cooler.
I waited for a buddy to come by and snap the pic.
Not many people on the beach. Very nice weekend/ week!
What a blast!

Hey, nice pics! I was cracking up when you rated your own thread 5 stars!! But I agree, the pics of the scenery are beautiful. The prettiest time of year, no doubt..(I don't know about FIVE stars, but very good. LOL)
There's nothing like a confident woman in a field with so few! Bob's wife has some bragging rights, but I guess she's a bit more humble. Nice job!

LOL It's pretty hard to wear a bikini when you are freezing your *** off!
I hardley can take credit for the beautiful pics. Nature does the colors I push
a button. I agree I can take some pics, but I miss the blitzes cause i am fishing them.

The fish speak for themselves. We were there, got dinner for a while anyway!
Thank you Endorfin! Yes I am very confident and there are so very few of us women out there. I learned from the best!
I am tired as all he ll and I do not want to work tomorrow
God 4 more days till I can do it again? OY!

5 stars!!! MADE YA LOOK!
What a hoot!

Awwww geee rags why do ya gotta bust my bubble?
I am floating on a high.
Great time out there with my hubby and i think I did pretty darn good!
I dropped a good one right on the shore.
I hate even thinking about it cause I know if I just did something different a little sooner I might have had it.
I had what looked like at least a good 35 and he was on the sand and I saw him twitch his head on that darn cliff we had and he was gone.
Feel better rags?
It was tough bringing the fish up that incline, but I did okay.
I am never gonna out fish my husband. If there are fish there he gets them!
SOOOOOO MUCH FUN SOOOOOO LITTLE TIME.

Nope, dont feel better, not my intent... You will get your bigun, just a matter of time... And dont pay attention to TSC,he is a pervert, looking for a cheap thrill... Post a picture of an elephant in a diaper, and he would probably enjoy it...Sorry Bob,but your pedigree procedes you...

I actually LOVE TSC's input!
He lightens things up and makes me laugh.
I know what he means when he says what he does.
I am not offended at all. So leave TSC alone!

Here is where I would input smilies if they would give the damn things to me.

Rags you are the only one who hurt my feelings.
Of course my husbands is bigger. I hope it is always like that!
