OK. I've got a house in Popponesset. I know of the spit, but don't seem to have much luck there. I know the end is 'the place' to fish, so what tides and times do I fish at? any help would be greatly appreceated

If you get the April 13 issue of The Fisherman you will have some of your questions answered. The time of day is more important than tide. Early morning and late afternoon to dark the best. Last sat spent a few hours on the beach, but no fish yet. squid boats are working and there was a large school of breaking fish about 1 mile out ,but unable to identify. Look for me on the beach and if I can further help you I will. ANGLER
