seminars

hi i am going to the world fly fishing expo in wilmington ma.i am going to atend a few of the seminars whitch are,

march 16,sunday
1)10:15 tying saltwater flies w/bob popovics
2)11:30 selective stripers...the creatures they feed on w/kenny abrames
3)1:30)stripers in tough conditions w/lou tabory
4)2:00 the amazing underwater world of game fish:feeding frenzy w/mike laptew
5)2:30 fly fishing rhode island's cinder worm
hatch for stripers w/bob hines

now i know i won't make it to everyone of these do to the times that over lap.in your opinion what is the most important i'm open to learn all i can for this sport even though i have been doing it all my life.

I don't know. All are apparently competent in their offerings. I have never been in the field with anybody on that list. I would choose the seminar that you feel weakest in. Kind of like being in a candy store, isn't it? You can take only so much.

thanx frank,
i feel the same way i would like to attend them all and will try to do so.a few of the names sound familiar,but who knows about there knowlage hey if i don't think there doing a good job of the information is not what i'm looking for i'll just walk out and try another.thanx for being up front with the i don't know.most mr.smartys would say they knew and would have headed me in the wrong direction.candy is my weakness.ummmm chocolate

Laptew's underwater film is fantastic and Ken Abrahams puts on one of the most educational shows I've ever seen for fly tyers/fishers.

All are good,but Kenny Abrame's unique style of tying,fishing and observation are worth the price of admission. Jack

Popovics ties beautiful flies and uses a lot of unconventional techniques... not sure how his seminar is but my guess would be that it would be great, if you are looking to expand your horizons in terms of tying.
