eek 3D printers

I think I'm a little late to this game.

Yes, they've made the news due to handguns etc etc, but this is serious
technology.

Big Stuff

Scientists use 3D printer to create microbatteries smaller than a single GRAIN of sand, paving the way for high-powered flying robot insects and mini medical implants
  • Batteries were constructed from interlaced stacks of tiny electrodes, which conduct electricity, smaller than the width of a human hair
  • The microbatteries can be used in devices too small for older batteries
  • Researchers at Harvard and University of Illinois created electrochemically active ink for their custom 3D printer

They need to 3d print a battery that will last longer in a smartphone. Screw micro robots.

LOL.

Would be handy to have one in the back of your truck...that way you could always just go back and print the hot lure.

it is likely doable in the beach buggy of the future!

there is no reason a beach-riggable lure couldn't be 3D printed! just add through-wire, split rings and hooks
