It will pass in the NL eventually.
do not like the DH at all; one of the many reasons that I love baseball is that all players have to do everything...run, field, hit, throw; and AL fans under-play the strategy elements late in the game with replacing pitchers at the plate; and what's next...designated runners; why not? I know, go to the football model of separate offense and defense; keep the game at it's best; everyone does everything

as batting is concerned , only the elite batters get a chance to hit Right & Left pitching, most of the time the mgr. makes a switch either to turn the batter around or to get the bat to the other side also making a late inning change for defense purpose , who steals a base today ....very few ...who can lay down a bunt ...not many so these players are not doing it all by a long shot. Billy your right & I agree.... baseball is wrong . Take a look @ any MLB dougout patty cake hand jive , LL cheerleader chants it's disgusting .

Courtesy runners and you could tell by the "ping" that he got all of that one. Already 6 innings and under 3 runs is a quality start.

Exactly, so DH or not, the game changed a long time ago, I think starting with Rollie Fingers.

Some changes I can agree with. What is now a ground rule double used to be a home run. It went over the fence. Walks and sacrifices don't count in batting averages any more. Catfish Hunter. I watch AL until the DH comes to bat. Then I see if "Flintstones" or "Brady Bunch" or something else more intelligent is on.
