Re: The 2015 New York Baseball Thread
Small town market can't afford a one dimensional player. I remember when the Kansas City Athletics were a Yankees farm team, but back then they had to play in the field to crack the line up.

Re: The 2015 New York Baseball Thread
down 3; 9th inning; 2 outs nobody on; OK, some work to do...2 runners get on and Murphy ties it; 3 in 10th to win; Cespedes , Wright and D'Arnaud on bench; what a stretch; 32 straight on road with 4 runs...3rd longest streak in history; 20-4 on road since the trade; whatever is going on may it please continue

Re: The 2015 New York Baseball Thread
Sandy pulled a rabbit out of the hat to put together this team. That, and patience.
And to think Mets fans were ready to run Terry, Sandy and everyone else associated with the management of the team, OUT of NY just 2 months ago.

Re: The 2015 New York Baseball Thread
I can understand all the Met "Homeys " on C being an MVP for less than 60 days ? there are more deserving players contributing the entire season just silly radio talk . The M's will regret signing this guy . Also not seeing Colon not starting in a playoff game is Insanity. Besides where is the Left hand pitching ? Good teams will eat this pitching staff up

Re: The 2015 New York Baseball Thread
If he spent more time in the AL than the NL this year it will be nearly impossible to win NL MVP. He finishes in the top 5 though.

Re: The 2015 New York Baseball Thread
with all the talk of DeGrom, Harvey and Noah...there is Matz coming out from under the radar; the leftie we need; 5 starts giving up 2 runs are less; great win last night; and I love the interplay between Uribe and Colon on the bench.....would love to have it translated
