Not a NE fan but Brady is why he is going in the HOF . Not 100% sure how many injury players from NE came back just to play into yesterday's game , I feel sometimes it is not good for the team to do so. Big hole all day over the Denver middle D something Carolina can see .Altitude advantage Denver ! Manning is so smart & this game can be viewed many times over was a classic / historic game ...just could not get any better .
missed it about Palmer's thumb injury.

They would not have won, but it sure explains some of the dead elephants he was tossing. Geesh.

This was the first time I can recall seeing Brady take a beating and stay in there, giving the team a chance to win at the end.

I didn't watch either game. I haven't watched a SB since the lights went out after halftime that year.

Bob,

you missed a really good, old time, game yesterday in the Denver/New England game, where the defenses and pass rush dominated.

This SB could turn into a good one as well, as everyone will ride the young buck going in.

If anything, I say anything, wins the game for Denver, it will be their defense...

I know. I was shoveling and then I had things to do that I couldn't get to on Saturday. By the time I tuned in Carolina was up by blow out.

The league announced Monday that a combined 99 million viewers watched Championship Sunday.
With Peyton Manning and Tom Brady squaring off for the 17th time,
the AFC Championship Game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots on CBS garnered 53.3 million viewers,
the second most-watched AFC Championship ever-- behind Jets-Steelers in January 2011 (54.8 million).

The NFC Championship Game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals on FOX earned 45.7 million viewers.

Wow

I am willing to benefit charity on this if you are PaNoob.

I'll take Carolina + 7.5 for the Orioles Birdland Charity Golf Tournament being held in Sarasota Florida on February 22 this month.

I'll give you Denver + 7.5 for the legitimate charity of your choice to be fair.

$50

So, both charities stand to get $50 donations.

What do you think?

Doug

Hey Doug,

I like the idea.

Not sure how we can make this work(donation wise) but it sounds like you have done this before so I assume you know how to go about this. I will need to figure out a charity before the big game.
Sound like a good idea, I am up for this.
Have not lost money on a super bowl since 1995, then again I have not bet on one since then.

PaNoob, it is easy if you pick a charity that has online donations.

birdeasepro.com/birdlandclassic is the link for mine, has a donation link on the Home Page.

If you name a Charity I will assume that we have a valid eager. Best thing that can happen would be for Carolina to win by 7 or less.

Thanks PaNoob.

Doug

Hi Doug,

It didn't take much thought to come up with a charity

Mine is https://www.aspca.org/

Hey Doug, instead of trash talking(which most would do) you made this interesting for a good cause...thanks!

PaNoob
