Default Blue fish public hearing ???

Did anyone else receive an email notice about public hearings regarding changes in bluefish management ? The hearings are in ocean city on the 27th and Toms River 28th . It?s from the NJ division of wildlife .

I personally enjoy catching bluefish & occasionally harvesting one. I think it's a damn shame when there is a great bluefish bite/run & all the pics of fisherman keeping there 15 fish limit in the sand on a hot day just for publicity on social media. Those fish are already spoiled. And if you do get them on ice quick enough, 99% of people keeping 15 big blues will not use that meat before it spoils.
Smaller blues 4"-14" I can understand...but the big ones 24"+, who really needs/can use 15?

agree; limits not only preserve the stock...and I love a big bluefish blitz where you actually need to pause and rest between fish....but it makes the point that we should limit the taking of fish; they are not there for us to harvest at will but take what you will eat and photo the rest; respect your adversary and do what you can to keep them around
