Default Oc md inlet and lewes canal 8/9 to 8/14

Spent the week in oc md. Managed 22 stripers most from the inlet on the outgoing. Swim shad and eels proved best.

Pounded away at them wed. Night in lewes but they were all small. They were popping on anchovies so the teaser fly in olive and white did the trick.

Managed to hook and land two 20" bass on one plug 1st time I ever did that. One on the front hook and one on the rear

Thumbs up Re: Oc md inlet and lewes canal 8/9 to 8/14

For the water being as warm as it is, that's pretty thick for Bass IMO.
Nice going.

Nice going.

Every summer I can usually find bass in the CO inlet - but that are mostly small. Last year I got a few in the 30" range but that was not to be this year.

The bass were really thick in Lewes - i catch them there all the time but this year there seemed to be a lot more around.

Bait is everywhere
