MLB & Players Union have to decide & agree ( possible lock out ) on terms.Dec. 2016 But according to alot of baseball people it looks like it won't happen. Not enough major issues, agreements to hold things back. It seems the international players have to do a lot more learning how things work in baseball. My favorite was Tom Glavine who was the player rep. left Atlanta ( FA) to New York Mets. Something he did not want to do but it was the right thing to do for future players .

Made a German style Apple Strudel for today's meal. It smells great w/ the wife cooking the Turkey ( separate oven ) can't wait.

too bad about Eovaldi... he had promise.

hope for his sake he can bounce back.

Yes, Ces was a key part for the Mets. Now if Wright will only retire they can move on.

Talking Re: Yanks / Mets

Wow, Tebow (and Cespedes' ) agent must have really called in a favor with the early signing:

Mets manager Terry Collins wants Tim Tebow playing in spring training games

Play Video

Hall of Fame quarterback says he would 'like nothing more' than to see Tebow become a Major League Baseball player. USA TODAY Sports

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. ? Tim Tebow's baseball career is apparently far from over.
Tebow's 19-game stint in the Arizona Fall League resulted in mixed reviews from major league scouts and officials, but New York Mets manager Terry Collins spoke highly of Tebow and was adamant he come to major league camp.
?I certainly hope we?ll see Tim Tebow in some of our games," Collins said Tuesday at baseball's annual Winter Meetings. ?If he?s not in our camp, I?ll get him over."
Collins went to watch Tebow play in Arizona, but did not meet with the former Heisman Trophy winner. Tebow had his moments in the AFL, but struggled against some of the young, top pitching prospects. It took him 13 at-bats before registering his first hit.
