Spring training
today Rick Porcello ( Cy young ) pitcher for the Bossox faced Tim Tebow ( Heisman ) Mets @ bat it happened before & who was the pitcher & batter ?
I think some might get it with out a google search , I got the batter but the pitcher I didn't

Very good question and I'm scratching my head. Likewise, I can guess the Heisman but the Cy Young is a mystery.

I figured Jackson, had to google the other. But Bo must have faced several Cy winners.

^^ yes he might have faced more than one I don't know according to MLB reviews of the day last night , the announcers said he faced this pitcher which was a Met at one time .

I would have never guessed Viola without looking it up.
I didn't even remember Viola as winning the Cy Young

...he is just taking up a spot ,
With the introduction of World Baseball , MLB is giving a clear path for players of countries to get a shot . It used to be Cuba , players by the way of Central America, South America , Mexico leagues Also smuggling trafficking players into the US by way from Cuba a big $$$ sting , Active MLB players helping by the way of Millions $$ to help out Now this gives them a Walk Right In .

well Mets Fans; here we go.....two issues, are the young arms back (DeGrom looked good yesterday) and will Conforto and D'Arnaud show what we think they are; if so, we win the East

It's all about the pitching...always was, always will be for them.
Especially now, they don't have Colon to bail them out this year.

^^ same ole Mets ....2010 BC had stem cell ( research in the making ) 2011 got the elbow repaired , Do they think this guy's arm is going to " crap out " IT ALREADY DID & got it fixed , he was a TON of innings last year ( face laugh ) 191 innings 2016
