Lavalette yesterday 5;30-8:00am; water clean; threw white plastics and small shads with no hits; heard a familiar voice in my head saying "darter darter" so I put on the white red head and nailed one on first cast; that was it for me; a fly guy nearby got 4 and saw a couple more caught nearby; hope to get out one more time and then it's switch to reds, snook, pompano and largemouth bass

Nice JB, finally got out a couple nights ago for the first time in about a month. Hit a back bay spring spot that used to produce but didn’t do to well there in the spring, but picked the right place picked out 19 total, with two in the 30 to 33” range, the shorts were all pretty carbon copy 20” guys. Everything was caught on the small mag darter. Fun night froze my butt off and still have no feeling in my one finger. Still looking for a better pair of gloves, I usually use a stormr glove on my left hand to reel and handle any fish and fingerless Simms gloves on the right, have a hard time casting with bailess with all my fingers all covered up, can’t feel the line.

Anyway merry Christmas to you guys and keep catching.

Crooked. Get simple glove liners. They really help

Same spot as the night before. Had to fight through the bunker to get the bass and if you got away from the bunker you could find bass, they were still on small stuff and wouldn?t touch anything that matched the bunker, even on snag and drop. Picked out 25, three pushed 26 to 27?. Good way to end out the season for me, now back to house work

And thanks Bill, threw on a pair of liners under the regular gloves and hands stayed warm all night.

Some of the results of my occasional good luck this summer! Kept the fish frozen for tonight.

Merry Christmas to all and especially those I have met on here and then on the sand.

May the greatest gift you receive is health and happiness this season.

I look ahead to fishing and seeing one of you walking the beach toward me!

This website is loaded with great folks. I wish a Merry Christmas to all and hope to see everyone I know, and to meet those that I don't know yet, in the spring.
