Re: November & December Fishing Reports 2017
Fished Sunday which in retrospect probably wasn't a good idea as crowds really put a damper on fishing compared to the prior two days.
Ocean was crowded with all sorts of different floating objects...anything from jet skis, pontoon boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and even freshwater bass boats with power poles.X Seen two guys trolling through the fleet hook each otherXand less than an hour later seen a guy trolling catch another guy's line who was live lining.X lol
TheXday started off real slow for us only getting one bass and a few missed takes on live bunker.X Switched over to trolling and picked up a few fish on Spoon Feds.
Ended the day with 5 keeper bass to 47" including one of the fattest fish I have seen in a while for its length.X Definitely a "qualityXover quantity" type of day.

Re: November & December Fishing Reports 2017
I'll be out on foot wed after 10 pm fishing into Thurs morning.
So many reports I am not sure where to go.
Fish seem to be everywhere but tomorrow im sure they will be no where where I am.
Story if my life, day late and a dollar short....
Gotta give it a try none the less. We shall see

Southern MoCo: Got out last night just as the sun was setting. North wind with current moving North to South too. Threw a bunch of plugs, but the two fish I caught were on a darter.

Re: November & December Fishing Reports 2017
I am working myself up to a run to the beach this afternoon. High tide's about 4:40 or so, and the wind's not looking too awful.
Does anybody want to try to connect on the beach? I'm not the most skilled guy on this board, but I don't whine too much. I was thinking MoCo somewhere north of the Shark River, but I'm open to suggestions.
PM if you think it might work.

Joseph, you gain skills by getting out there, seeing what works, what doesn't, keeping logs, talking to others and reading. Don't be afraid to move if the spot you're in seems like the dead sea. If there's life around though, work it.

Re: November & December Fishing Reports 2017
Joseph,
I'll be down 10/11 ish tonight. Not sure if I'm working North to south or south to north. It will be an all nighter. The nite bite has been minimal but I am hoping for an early am bite with the tide.
If you feel like walking and moving around drop me a pm.

Re: November & December Fishing Reports 2017
No all-nighters for me these days. I need my beauty sleep!
I will be happy to let the world know if I succeed or not.
Cheers!

Re: November & December Fishing Reports 2017
Great bite on Tuesday at the shook. Bltzy conditions. Mostly shorts but saw a number of 20+ leers. Lot of fun. Went back today and it was really quiet. A few real small schoolies. Basstard scored with his trusty mag darter. What a difference a day makes. Day off tomorrow and back at it with good NW wind friday
