I just gpt my bait rods all strung up and since seeing those pics think they can stay right where they are and im going casting!

Is there any site to find water temps in the Barnegat Bay? I am hating on this weather so much and figure that it won't be much worth driving to the salt until water temps come back to mid-40's at least. Mostly I'd be happy to just have some sunshine, or even no more damn snow icons on the forecast.

USCG use to display water temp at the inlet but no longer do so-

Got out this morning for a bit (trying to beat the snow coming Saturday ) ; three shorts on small paddle tail. It was COLD.

8 Bass in RB this afternoon on worms. No takers on plugs. All fish were under 36"

Nice Bill!! went out Thursday after work RB threw plugs and broke the ice on the 18 season..Landed 2 missed another both good fish, 31in and a just 28in..Small mag darter got them reeled painfully slow..stayed till couldn't feel my toes.. fished end of the incoming..Oh and got a treble in the hand and had to pefore surgery to get it out luckly it was cold and my fingers were numb so not to much pain..Kept fishing!!

Very nice bro...early spring plugging is a tough game...watched the bait guys do well around me last night...got one tap on plastic

Clams nomoco from 1-2pm today nothing, saw none of of the other bait guys catch. had a couple of casters come by and they reported no action either.. Saw the conservation officer also checking ID and etc.
