Bumgardner single handedly beat the Royals last year. If that ain't grade AAA stud then I am a frog.

The AL EAST is going to the last week; might come down to the last week schedule and who plays who; I'm really just focused on the Mets young pitching...Matz and then Wheeler next year; if D'ARnaud returns and hits and Duda comes out of his funk the pitching will hold us in at least the wild card until late; don't expect to make it but pitching can be the difference

Something happened to Matz. He's not going to throw for 3 weeks. Sketchy early report but not his arm. I think it was a lat. But then Mets injury reports are always understated.

NY sports radio spots hosts are on the ban wagon of making a trade for Duda or Nese i disagree really liking what is happening to this team w/ what they got . A few here & there position switches durning the rest of the year , it will be a productive one . Trading for one bat ? One bat can be easily pitched around .on another note : I think batters from scouting reports have Harvey's # ...heck I can see a tip off pattern to his pitchers from the TV. Someone has to talk to this kid ...he is head strong

I think it is potential that Colon gets traded to an AL TEAM in the race for a prospect or Niese for an everyday player...but his last two outings were really good; overall when Wheeler comes back next season there will be big group of starters and if Niese pitches well his market value may go up and another bat is needed....please can D'Arnaud get back here soon

92 games and the Mets are still hanging in there:

Washington4941.544--5-5L226-1823-237/19 vs LAD, L 0-57/20 vs NYM, 7:05 PM
NY Mets4844.5222.02.07-3W132-1416-307/19 @ STL, W 3-17/20 @ WSH, 7:05 PM

and that with the lowest team batting in the NL!!!

A couple of voids w/ the Bombers , SS & 2b & the extra day rest rotation for Teflon Tanaka has a possibility upsetting the other starters . Will have to see what Joey G does to balance this act .
