Default dvd software

Purchased an ipod last week and I am looking to put some video on it. Can anyone suggest a good software package for doing this( ripping) and also for ripping audio only. Would also like to select specific chapters to rip. Looking for ease of use and under $50.

Think that's gonna be tough under $50. The software I have (w/adapter) was around $85. It's by dazzle. Works great with recording from my camcorder, tv, vcr, dvd and DVR.... The software leaves a little to be desired though....

Found a program called cucusoft. Out of 50, the reviewer said this was # 2 only because it was a little slower. I chose it because #1 rated Avex did not rip mp3 layers seperately, and was not capable of ripping selected chapters which is usefull with multi episode dvd's. Easy to use interface and cost $40.
