You take every bloody part off the truck... and rebuild on a new frame. Approx cost was 12,500 my buddy told me.

Google it...get a laugh.

here's one of their announcements... unbelievable, but I do recall hearing about this, now that you've mentioned it.

I understand from some mechanic friends that these Yotos are basically very sound and robust with great drivelines. With 198+K on my Ford F-250 I will likely buy one more of the same, (may be a Quigley conversion E-250) that should do the trick for the balance of my fishing days.

The previous F-250s, that I ran to approx 250K, all made it with original engines and trans. I'm hoping I will say that about my current unit. I think there are many good full sized pickups today and I'm even impressed with the new Mopars --- but I just prefer to subsidize a company that is still U.S. owned and has not been co-opted by the Obummer thugs.

Congrats!!! I have a 2010 Frontier SE 4x4 and just love it. Added a PVC rod holder in the back and she was good to go.

Picked it up new from dealer July '10. Had to wait until end of September to use it for it's intended purposes.
BTW for those who fish LBI NJ--last week followed a CO onto the beach. Well actually he stopped right on the beach entrance to deflate . Took about 30 seconds for me to realize-- of course I was already a bit steamed-- but helped him out since he was using a pair if pliers! Tire Buddy II and 15-20 minutes later sent him on his way. He was headed down to the south end on a call. Didn't ask to see my Federal Registration.

Recalls Issued For 420,000 Toyota & Lexus Vehicles Over Steering Concerns

Earlier today, the folks at Toyota issued a recall of approximately 283,000 Toyota vehicles -- Avalon, Camry, Highlander, Sienna, Solara -- and 137,000 Lexus vehicles -- ES330, RX330, RX400h -- over concerns that a potential problem in these vehicles may suddenly make it much harder for the driver to steer.
Specific models and model years affected by the recall:
2004 Avalon
2004 and 2005 Camry, Highlander, Sienna, and Solara
2006 Highlander HV
2004 and 2005 ES330 and RX330
And 2006 RX400h
Toyota says this recall only involves these models with V6 engines.
From Toyota:
There is a possibility that the outer ring of the crankshaft pulley may become misaligned with the inner ring, causing noise and/or illumination of the discharge warning light. If this condition is not corrected, the belt for the power steering pump may become detached from the pulley and the driver may notice a sudden increase in steering effort. There are no reports of accidents or injuries related to this condition.
The car make says it is working to gather up the necessary replacement parts and will be notifying affected vehicle owners in January.
Owners of recalled vehicles can then go to a Toyota/Lexus dealership to have the crankshaft pulley inspected and if necessary, replaced at no charge.
But Toyota says that if you hear an abnormal noise coming from the engine compartment, you should make an appointment with any Toyota or Lexus dealer to have the vehicle inspected for this condition.
Detailed information and answers to questions are available to customers at www.toyota.com/recall and the Toyota Customer Experience Center (1 800-331-4331) or www.lexus.com/recall and Lexus Customer Satisfaction (1 800-255-3987).

I just bought the 2011 Pro-4X and like RobS I had a 2002 Jeep Liberty which was great, I must of got into every new and used car in central jersey 4 months. This truck hands down beat anything in the price range, power, room, and pretty good gas mileage
