Don't know ...that forum seems kinda hard core... Sort of like a Stripersurf.con for jeep owners

wade in slowly, use the search function before asking questions and you may be surprised, there is a Titan forum that I go to and it is very helpful

well I ordered the front and rear receivers from quadratec.

looks to be an easy project... rather than making Joe-Frank drive down here or having to load up on beer, if I have any trouble with the wiring (shouldn't but hey, it's me) I have a guy down the road who can bail me out

also got the Viair 300P as my old compressor is a little underpowered for the larger tires (factory set at 37 PSI... no, I haven't even opened the owner's manual yet).

now for the beach... I will probably push it and go out without the formal registration at some point soon, but trying to be patient.

in the meantime will be hitting the backbays by boat for tog++.

Looks good Rob, I suggest relocating the plate, sooner or later some cop is going to give you a hard time about it.

Good point, Frank. I thought about that, but will take the chances down here for now as I have to figure out how/where to put the plate

yes, installed the hitch, and the rack mounts on the hitch... right now one (think 21 or 22 mm ) bolt on the receiver.

btw http://www.jeepforum.com/ is a great site.

was trying to figure out how to get the fascia off without destroying the plastic connectors... a great tip was to use a drywall screw, hand turned into the plastic "phillips" screw... then just pull out. worked like a charm.

I have the fascia off and stored, uncut

If the only time you have the cooler rack installed is when you are fishing, I wouldn't bother. If you are going to have the rack on from April to December, then I would.

Of course I am not paying your ticket should it happen.
