Thanks...
Hope this is my last "new" car for, like, ever. We will see. It'll be hard to be worse than the Jeep treated me

I sold the front hitch and folding cooler/rod holder I had to a friend's son, after I got rid of the Jeep. I kinda wish I kept the cooler/rod holder -> DOH! Anyhow, will be on the market for one that just goes in the rear hitch. Think I can swing enough clearance to open the back, now that the 4runner doesn't have the swing gate like the Jeep did (another stupid Jeep design was the swing gate hinges... but that's another story)

Gotta wait for permanent tags before getting the permit and getting out.

Thanks guys but probably the only fish to school in front of me
are likely skates and doggies (and the occasional sand brownie )

I decided to keep the Subaru and give the slightly older Honda CR-V to
one of our daughters who needs it.

Can't wait to give the 4Runner a sand test.

Congrats Rob! Good luck with the new buggy. I will take this as another sign to keep my old '06 two-door Unlimited even though it has 155K miles on it now. I just can't afford a new 4Runner anyhow But I can't wait to see the new Wrangler Pickup coming out next year

OOO OOOO OOOO, I got a new cooler rack holder too, a little over a month ago but still have to put the cooler rack brackets on and if I didnt tell you most wouldn't know. My old one had 210,000 miles needed rear axle seals, shocks, brakes and tires at all 4 corners probably a tie rod or 3, wiper fluid res had a leak, air bag light was blinking, needed 2 cats, had a "extremely large evaporator leak" and a few other things like the passenger window stopped working the morning I decided to see about a new one. So I cleared all the codes in the dealer lot and they gave me $4k for it without even starting or getting into it did the deal ran home unloaded the yaks, took over the bed cover, roof rack and cooler rack mounts and brought back fingers crossed they weren't going to look closer

After 3 trips on the beach this is the best buggy I've had yet but its probably the same as the old one I just didn't know how bad it slowly got.
